Font does not show in any app
Step-by-step recovery (in this order)
- Confirm you are installing the newest exported OTF file (check the date in the file name).
- Open the folder where the font file is stored and double-click once to install.
- Open one new text document and choose the font list from scratch.
- Restart the app after install; some apps only load fonts on launch.
If it is still missing
- If you used "Install for all users", ask an admin to confirm it was permitted.
- If the font name changed in Tracey, use the new family name in app font menus.
- If you still do not see it, continue to cache clear steps.
Try this next
If all checks are good and it is still missing, run cache and app restart steps. If your project uses shared templates, ask others to install the same file too.
Expected result
A fresh document should show the family name you set in Tracey. If it appears under an older name, remove older installed versions first.
