Font appears in some apps only

Try this order first

1. Close the app completely (not just hide/minimize).
2. Open a fresh document and check the app font picker before opening an older project file.
3. If Figma web: confirm local font helper is connected.
4. If Word/PowerPoint: verify the app has been fully relaunched after install.
5. If still missing, clear font cache from OS tools and reinstall once.

How to read the result

If the font works in one desktop app, the export is probably valid. The remaining problem is usually that app's font cache, local-font helper, or account permissions.
