Mac installation
How to install on Mac
Recommended: install with Font Book because it keeps your Mac font list clean and easy to manage.
Step-by-step
- Find the exported OTF font file in your Downloads folder or wherever you saved it.
- Double-click the file in Finder, or open Font Book first and choose File -> Open...
- In Font Book, choose Install Font
- Choose user installation first, then check that the font appears in app font menus.
- If needed, fully quit and restart the app (Word, Pages, Adobe apps, Figma, etc.).
Where your exported file may be
If you used the browser download default, check your Downloads folder. If you changed the save location, rename the file to something familiar before install.
If you have trouble
- Font does not appear anywhere: restart the app and re-open Font Book.
- Font is duplicated: keep the newest export and remove old duplicates in Font Book.
- Font still missing in one app: log out and back in, then reopen the app.
Success check
In Font Book, search for the family name you set in Tracey. Then open a fresh document and choose that same family name from the font menu.
