Windows installation
How to install on Windows
This is the easiest route for most users and matches Microsoft's recommended install flow.
Step-by-step
- Open Downloads and find the OTF font file you exported.
- Right-click the file and choose Install (or Install for all users if you need all profiles).
- Allow changes if prompted by Windows for trusted files.
- Open Settings > Personalization > Fonts and confirm the font appears there.
- Restart your document/design app before selecting the new font.
- If Word/PowerPoint still does not see it, close Settings and reboot the app once.
Where to check files if it disappears
Keep the original `.otf` file in a project folder too, not only in Downloads. If needed, re-install from that copy later.
If Word/PowerPoint doesn't show it
- Close the app completely (not just minimize), then reopen.
- Check that the file extension is .otf and the export was successful.
- If multiple versions exist, remove old versions from Fonts then install the newest one.
- If still missing, use the cache-reset page in this section.
Success check
In Settings > Personalization > Fonts, search for the family name you set in Tracey. Then test that same name in a fresh document.
