How to replace your old version

Safe replace process

1. Give your new export a unique version name (for example `MyTracey-v3.otf`).
2. Uninstall the old version first (if your app has stale cache issues).
3. Install the new version the same way you installed the first one.
4. Restart any design or document apps before testing.
5. Check paragraph/text examples in a real document and confirm it uses the new look.

If an old style still shows up

• You likely have two fonts with similar names installed.
• Remove the old one from Font Book / Windows Fonts first.
• Reinstall the latest version and reopen the document.

Best test

Type the same short sentence before and after replacing the font. Include capitals, lowercase, numbers, and punctuation so old versions are easy to spot.
